Depending on your position, you may need to maintain portions of one or more of the back-end sections of the website. The three sections are Public, Members, and National Specialty. Here I have screen shots of the National Specialty login but all work the same.
Clicking on a choice above will take you to a logon screen.
You will have received a random password when your account was set up. The webmaster can’t see them as they are encrypted so if you don’t know or remember the password, use the “Lost your password?” step. Click on “Remember me” to save a cookie so that you will remain logged in.
This is the back-end dashboard. Your options on the left side of the screen will vary according to your permission level.
When you are logged in you will have a black menu bar at the top of your screen. You can log out by hovering over your name at the right of the bar and then selecting Log out. To go to the section front-end (home page), hover over the site title on the left and you will see Visit Site and Visit Store. Click on the Visit Site for the home page for that section.
Note: the black menu bar at the top may be set to display or via your dashboard profile.
If you have full admin privileges, the link to your profile will be under the Users option. Check the box next to toolbar to maintain the black top bar when viewing the website.
This shows toolbar enabled. Hovering over the site title on the toolbar gives you the option of going back to the Dashboard.
Notes on reading the Magazines:
For the best reading experience, use the Full Screen icon at the bottom of the pages.
Clicking on the lower outside corner will turn the page.
Mobile devices: Rotate to landscape mode for best results.
You can edit your own Breeder’s DIrectory Entry. Under Your Info, choose the step that is labeled Edit Your Breeders Directory Entry.
Copy the tinyurl address and paste it into your browser address bar. It’s easiest if you open a new tab for it.
Your own Google Doc file will be opened. This shows a test that I use for editing:
Changes are saved automatically. Just close the file or use your back button to return.
If you are unable to use Google Docs, you may enter the changes you want to make in a box below:
In this case the webmaster or membership will make the changes for you shortly.
If you wish to remove your listing or make other notes, you can put that information in the box.
